Building on the 30-year legacy of Toronto Taste, we at RedBit are thrilled to participate in the annual fundraiser The Rescue Party, Toronto's most exciting culinary and concert experience this summer on June 4, 2023. If you are a foodie, this is an event you will want to attend.

Why a Big Event?

Food insecurity is on the rise in Canada and the work the entire Second Harvest team does to combat this is necessary and required at a national level. In Canada $49 billion, yes billion, worth of good edible food is wasted yearly. At the same time, food insecurity is on the rise and this does not make logical sense.

We have been working with Second Harvest for the past 5 years and continue to help fight food insecurity in Canada through technology by helping to build and manage the Second Harvest Food Rescue App. An app that has helped provide 150,000 meals per day, redistributed 53.3 million pounds of food in 2022.
